Gianfranco De Girolamo once served the United States Department of Justice, taking on the role of an Honors Program Attorney Advisor at the Los Angeles immigration court. There, he was responsible for conducting research, drafting opinions, and providing counsel to immigration judges. Gianfranco made his journey to the United States in 2012 and proudly became a citizen in 2015. He is multilingual, fluently speaking, reading, and writing in English, Spanish, and Italian.
Gianfranco's origins trace back to a quaint medieval village in Southern Italy where he was born and raised. Before making Los Angeles his home, he had the experience of living in countries such as Mexico, China, and England. Raúl Ruvalcaba it’s a graduate of the St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas and a former Assistant Chief Counsel for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He was recruited by the Department of Homeland Security through the OPLA STAR program after a successful internship where he focused primarily on legal analysis of the interplay between federal and state criminal statutes. As a result of his time as an ICE prosecutor, attorney Ruvalcaba focuses on removal defense cases bringing a unique perspective to DGOPC and a wealth of litigation experience involving issues ranging from asylum to national security.
